ABSTRACT:

  The Rhode Holland Insurrection

  The Allied Nations of New Scandinavia and New Holland gathered 
  together a small international task force, containing members 
  of the New Holland and New Scandinavian military, as well as 
  internationally commissioned mercenary forces. Two fully 
  suited commandos carried loaded fully automatic assault rifles, 
  everyone else had loaded pistols. The team forced its way 
  into the supposed Rhode Holland area at 12:39, waking Brett 
  from his sleep, and arresting him. He was then carried to the 
  New Holland headquarters where he was tried at gunpoint by an 
  international tribunal, with Imperator Brenton Strine and 
  Chairman President Nichollas Schooland standing as the 
  Tribunal Judges. 

  Brett was interrogated, and charged with insurrection and 
  rebellion. He pleaded innocent. Following a brief presentment 
  of evidences, he was found to be guilty as charged. The 
  punishment for his crimes was explained as execution, full 
  loss of rights within New Holland, and promise of continual 
  future raids to discourage further insubordination and to 
  maintain the peace within New Holland. Brett was then 
  mercifully offered a chance to escape full punishment. He 
  was promised that if he confessed fully, and complied to the 
  full demands of New Holland and the International Council, 
  that he would be reinstated as a full citizen of New Holland, 
  and even be given control of Rhode Holland as a subordinate 
  territory ruler, with full leave to run the area as he saw fit, 
  as long as he remained under the full authority of New Holland. 
  
  After thoughtful consideration, Brett accepted the terms 
  unconditionally. He was cut free of his bonds, and made to 
  swear an oath of loyalty to New Holland, and further swore to 
  the denouncement of Rhode Holland as an independent nation. 
  He was then released and the Tribunal dismissed.

RECORD OF OATH TAKEN:

  I, Brett Fikse, former Chairman of New Holland, hereby confess 
  to acts of insurrection and rebellion against the State of New 
  Holland. I do confess that I willfully sabotaged the   soveigrenty 
  of New Holland, and the International Community in alliance with 
  New Holland. I confess that in my rebellion I utilized terrorism, 
  brutality, and crimes against humanity in order to attain my 
  goal of forming a suppressive and evil regime. 


  I hereby denounce all my former actions, crimes and plans against 
  the Nation of New Holland. I reject and abandon the idea of a 
  soveigrn Rhode Holland nation. I reaffirm my complete loyalty to 
  New Holland. I swear to abide by the rules and regulations of New 
  Holland, and the mandates of the International Community at Westmont. 
  I further promise that I will not attempt any further acts of 
  insurrection, and that any persons who act in any way against the 
  will of New Holland are disgraces to themselves and their mothers. 
  
  Now I, having full faculty of mind, affirm that I sign this of my own 
  free will, by my own hand, willingly, and not under duress, with 
  full understanding of its contents and implications. I swear by my 
  very life to uphold this oath immutably.
