A Typical Visit

The first thing I do is to check out your computer to find out what it's specs are and check for any major problems. I will be able to tell your operating system, processor speed, RAM and hard drive space, among other things.

Next I check to make sure that antivirus software is installed and functioning properly, and that your computer has all the latest windows updates and that it is set to download antivirus definitions and windows updates automatically. Doing this will protect your computer from viruses and other types of threats.

I will then install spyware protection and removal software. This will prevent malware, adware and spyware from installing on your computer. I will then Immunize your system from spyware and scan the entire hard drive for spyware.

A full virus scan will also be run.

After all spyware and viruses are cleaned out, I will install and configure firefox as your browser. Firefox is a free browser with better features than the default Internet Explorer, and it will automatically block unwanted pop-ups. Firefox is also less vulnerable to spyware and virus attacks.

Clutter and useless items will be cleaned up, and unneeded files deleted to increase storage space. I then defragment the drive to increase storage space and speed up the computer.
