Hello Class of 1984, I pray that this letter finds you well and looking forward to time with family and friends this Christmas and New Year. It is my hope that these quarterly newsletters will help reconnect you with Westmont and with each other. If there is anything you'd like to see for our next newsletter in March, please send me an email at classagents@westmont.edu. You may recall in my newsletter last quarter we shared updates from Liz Jenks Hammer, James Banks, and Lisa Repko Borden. If you have a similar update to share, please pass along to me or use the link provided. We all would love to hear what you are doing. I would like to ask each of you to pray for the ministries and well-being of Westmont alumni as they serve in various capacities throughout the world. This map shows the geographical spread of Westmont alumni outside the United States, and seeing it reminds me that Westmont and each of us alumni are serving Christ wherever He leads us. God answers prayers, as we learned this week he was accepted! Boy, you could see the weight of the world lift off of his shoulders. He is still waiting to hear from Point Loma (think surfing) and a small, liberal arts college nestled in the foothills of Montecito. As he is our only child, Hillary has begun to anticipate the empty nest syndrome, so she decided to nip that in the bud. Attached are the two latest additions to our family. Kashmir (think Led Zeppelin) and Abbey (think Beatles), names chosen by Campbell. They're boxers, 5 months old, and crazy. I guess they are an early Christmas present - they have certainly brought a lot of joy to a household which had its share of grief this year. Thank you for who you are, and your continued support of Westmont. Hillary, Campbell and I pray that each of you have a blessed Christmas, and a Healthy 2011. David MacCulloch '84 | |||||
