Hello Class of 1997,

We hope that this letter finds you well. We are sure, like us, you are looking forward to time with family and friends this Christmas and New Year.

We would like to ask each of you to pray for the ministries and well-being of Westmont alumni as they serve in various capacities throughout the world. This map shows the geographical spread of Westmont alumni outside the United States. Seeing it reminds us how Westmont's alumni are serving Christ throughout the world.

An example of one of our fellow alumni serving overseas is Josh Chartier, and his wife, Robin (Hicks) Chartier and family. Josh says: "On December 1st, Robin and I moved to Cairo, Egypt with our 3 boys and baby daughter. We will be living here for one year and traveling throughout the Middle East so that I (Josh) can become fluent in Arabic and be immersed in the culture as a follow on to receiving my Master's Degree in Middle East and North African Security Studies. Robin has been keeping a blog of our travels at www.threejoshuatrees.blogspot.com. If you're in the area, we have a guestroom ready for you!"
