Hi Class of '05, Merry Christmas to you all! For those of you who didn't receive the last newsletter that went out, I hope these letters serve as connection points amongst our Westmont graduating class from wherever we are living at this time in life. Click here to view a map of the class of 2005. For four years our lives overlapped and we "grew up" together during a period when lifelong decisions were made and identities were further established. At our 5-yr reunion earlier this year, several classmates provided updates/reflections to share:

Let it be an encouragement to you to live intentionally wherever you are and a reminder to pray for these folks who share a common experience with us. I hope you have been enjoying this Advent season. It's unfortunate that we (at least, I) allow life to speed up during this season rather than more appropriately slow down. A few things that have centered me are certain Christmas songs and lines from Scripture. Following is a verse from O Holy Night and a couple Scripture verses particularly meaningful to me this season: Long lay the world in sin and error pining, The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned (Isaiah 9:2). In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (John 1:4-5). I hope you all have a joyful and wonder-filled Christmas.
