Hello Class of 1992,

I hope you all are easing into this fall season. Westmont students are back, and for me, that means my favorite babysitters have returned and athletics has started. We don't make it to every game, but we live close enough to campus to hear the cheers of the fans. My son and his friend walked up to watch a soccer match and came back reporting that those women are like "tackle football players. Really rough game, Mom." I'll have to take my little girl, who just started AYSO, up to see how it's done . . .

It's always great to hear what our classmates are up to, so if you'd like to share some news about what you and your family are up to, simply reply to this email or send an email to me at classagents@westmont.edu. Here are some updates from our classmates that I've received recently:

I am currently a Theatre Church Consultant for NCM Fathom (a division of NCM Media Networks). Most people are more familiar with my company from the on-screen pre-movie advertising that my company sells and produces for the over 1,500 cinemas nationwide we represent. My division executes LIVE satellite entertainment events as well as corporate meetings within the cinemas. I specifically work with churches helping them secure and effectively utilize the local cinema for weekly Sunday morning services. I've had the pleasure of working with new and innovative church planters and their sending organizations as well as some of the fastest growing churches in the US as they creatively seek ways to expand their ministry to the communities around them by launching multi-site campuses. In addition, I've been working with more churches that are selling their buildings that sit empty much of the week to relocate into a theatre so that they can be more intentional in being in the center of and a part of their communities, utilizing their budgets for local and international missions rather than building maintenance and upkeep.

Carter Crockett, his wife Kerry (Hales) Crockett '94, and family are celebrating their first year living in Rwanda and the successful launch of Karisimbi Business Partners with fellow alumni, Greg and Kristen (Brown) Urquhart (both '93 grads).

In lieu of a Porsche, Vija (Hurme) Williams opted to have a mid-life crisis: a third baby at 40! Zoe Ruth Williams, born 10/27/09, joins brothers Michael (age 9) and Aidan (age 7).

Valerie (Cronk) Kushnerov is now the Public Information Officer for the City of Goleta. She has served on the Goleta School Board and is currently running for reelection.
