Mission:
The Westmont Mentorship program will connect first years with upperclass mentors to build lasting, fruitful and positive relationships in order to bridge the gap and unify the classes here at Westmont.

Vision:
Most students at Westmont look back at their first year with fond memories; however there is a recurring theme of disunity on campus experienced by first year students. There is a lack of interaction between classes due to all-freshman dorms. We do not want to change that system, because it succeeds in building class unity, but rather be intentional in reaching out to our incoming students. We want to start a tradition at Westmont of welcoming the new class, as well as sharing wisdom and guidance that comes from people who have gone through these same experiences. Our desire is to be able to pour back into the Westmont community. We want to make a lasting impact in the lives of the students at Westmont that will exist long after we graduate.
